Vivene Younger
Associate Lawyer
Vivene Younger is a Senior Associate at Loyens Law, practising family law in Ontario since her call to the bar in 2017. She represents clients across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, with a focus on advocating for fathers and men navigating divorce, parenting disputes, and family court proceedings.
Her practice includes divorce, decision-making responsibility (custody), parenting time (access), child support, and negotiated dispute resolution under Ontario’s Family Law Act and the federal Divorce Act.
Vivene regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto and surrounding jurisdictions. She guides clients through case conferences, settlement conferences, and trial scheduling conferences with careful preparation and strategic advocacy.
Advocating for Fathers and Men in Toronto Family Court
As a Toronto family lawyer for men, Vivene understands the specific legal and practical challenges fathers may encounter in parenting and custody disputes. She is committed to ensuring her clients’ parental rights are clearly presented and responsibly advanced within Ontario’s legal framework.
Her approach combines:
- Careful listening and fact-driven case development
- Clear explanations of Ontario family law
- Structured legal strategy tailored to each client’s circumstances
- Firm, principled advocacy in court
Vivene believes that effective representation begins with informed decision-making. She ensures clients understand their legal rights, court procedures, and the realistic range of outcomes available based on Ontario legislation and case law.
A Steady and Strategic Approach
Family law matters affect parenting relationships, financial stability, and long-term security. Vivene provides steady, structured guidance to clients throughout Toronto and the GTA, helping them navigate the family court system with clarity and confidence.
She encourages individuals going through separation or custody disputes to prioritize their health and maintain a trusted support network during the legal process.
Outside the Practice
Outside of her legal work, Vivene enjoys travelling, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle. She values resilience, preparation, and balance, principles that inform both her personal life and her approach to family law.
Education and Legal Background
Vivene earned her law degree from Buckinghamshire University in England and completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law at the University of Nottingham.
Before practising in Ontario, she worked for six years as a paralegal at a top-tier law firm in London, England. That experience strengthened her analytical foundation, attention to detail, and disciplined approach to litigation — qualities she now brings to her Toronto family law practice.
